It was cold to the frizzing. The sky had the usual 90 % gray. I met up with Tanya and Mark in the studio, and Tanya was so excited to have their engagement session done that she had a such vibrant laugh on her face and cute as bottom. Mark on the other hand was so sweet and funny. Two together was incredible. I had to stop few times and took my serious laugh brakes!! Here are my totally entertaining and good looking Tanya and Mark.

Baby Thoren Hezekiah Holmes

So much fun to photograph Amber and Curt’s wedding back to 2010 and now also got to photograph their beautiful baby Thoren!!

Thoren Hezekiah Holmes was born on January 16th at 3:59pm. He was 8 lbs 4 oz and 20 1/4 inches long. He was blessed to have all his grandparents, many cousins and aunts and uncles ready to welcome him into the world. Although he was his Toopie’s 28th great-grandchild, his arrival still brought tears to his eyes, exposing just how precious every life is.

Thoren is a derivative of Thor- meaning thunder. Curt’s love of comics, amber’s Scandinavian descent, along with the baby’s large measurements via ultrasound presented an interesting opportunity for a unique name. Hezekiah was a reformer king of israel (2 chronicles) and was chosen as his middle name.

Midsummer

It’s cold winter now, when I finally have time to think freely and breath deeply. I think about the last summer that had been very fast and busy. I think about the life and work. I just want to thanks God for lending me two of his littlest angels. They are full of joy and sprites. They are taking me to see life in different ways and teaching me to be humble and grateful. Here is the table of plenty in my last midsummer.

Even though my passion is taking pictures, what really makes the images get their “wow” factor is the couple’s personality. The best part of my job is meeting these wonderful couples. I am so thankful for each couple that chooses me to capture their love. It is a very humbling feeling to have couples come to me and ask me to photograph their wedding. Every couple touches my heart in a special way that betters me as a person and a photographer. I want to thank each of my brides and grooms over the past years that have chosen me to be part of their special day! As I start a new year, I want to recap the best of 2011!

It was an icy cold day after our first snow fall but Shana and Ryan’s love towards each other warmed everyone’s heart. Their story book love was easy to capture with Shana and Ryan’s fun loving personalities. Even though they have extraordinary lives, Shana and Ryan’s simplicity and classy style was displayed with the help of La Lune Events.
