35 year Anniversary-Pam & Larry

Filed under: Uncategorized — ifongphoto @ 11:34 pm

I had a great honor to photograph Pam & Larry, the owner of Belle Victoria Garden Weddings, for their 35 year anniversary. When they called me for  the session, I was excited and hesitated the same time. I want to make sure I photograph them in the way that really shows they beautiful relationship and love for each other. They were absolutely incredible subjects to photograph. Pam laughed the whole time, I felt like I was photographing a teenage girl, and Larry was such a good look man that my camera just loved him. Here they are hot and cool all together!!!  I truly hope 35 years late that I will look as good as them and still in love as beautiful as they are!

Here is their story of love from Pam and Larry!

September 25,1976 was our 1st wedding.  Short, simple, and in my Mother and Father’s living room with 60 of our closest friends and family in attendance.  Very nice, full of love, but not at all what weddings are all about these days.

Because our business is weddings we see all sorts of them, it is our job to insure that they are lovely, creative, and that they are all the bride and groom have envisioned.  We are the owners of Belle Victorian Gardens.  It is our great pleasure to see many young couples recite their vows to one another and begin their married lives together on our own grounds every year.  It is both inspiring and lovely as it holds special memories for us as we remember our own vows spoken to one another now 35 years ago on the 25th.

On our 30th anniversary it was our desire to renew our written vows in a ceremony that both celebrated us, our parents, our children, and our grandchildren.  We also wanted to be an example to our very close friends that renewing our vows to one another has a whole new meaning the second time around.

Now that 5 more years have passed we are more in love than ever! God has seen us through many trials and hardships and those vows that we origionally spoke to one another take on deeper meaning, more than you can imagine!  We have learned to develop a quiet understanding with each other.  We still have to date each other and keep romance in the marriage, something we always recommend that young couples do especially after they get married and even more so after they have children.  A solid relationship with Jesus is what makes our relationship work.  He is the glue that holds all things together.

We celebrated our 35th anniversary with these beautiful images by Ifong Chen.  We pray that your 35th is as honoring as ours!                                                                              .

Wedding: Ryne’s parents house in Colbert

Dinner: David Pizza

Florist: Amy Pages from Bloom Design

Cup Cakes: Sweet Dream Bakery

D.J: Chris Anderson

I love all the cool details of Alix’s wedding. Alix and Ryne are the most layback, fun, crative couple. I had a great time. Here is the story of Alix and Ryne

Ryne and I met at a mutual friends house. Ryne had on jammies and was on crutches, due to a knee injury( he loves to tell people that:) I asked him out first, I knew little about him, and was just interested in getting to know him better, little did I know after a few dates we would spend the next five years inseperable. Ryne and I both come from strong, loving families and both have amazing parents who have been happily married for 25+ years, and I feel like having such good foundations on the family and parent front will really help us succeed in our journey of marriage.

Ryne and I started the journey of building our first house in the summer of 2009, on a brisk cold day in December we finally recieved news that we could get our keys and move in. Ryne insisted that we drive to the house to make sure the keys worked before starting to move everything in. I complained and almost ruined the suprise by expressing my feelings, ” Why the heck wouldnt the keys work?” Little did I know he had something up his sleeve As we walked into our absolutely fabulous new home, my heart was racing, I couldnt believe all this was coming true, at 22 and 24 we were about to move into a picture perfect first home! As I came to the kitchen there lyed a beautiful topiary and champagne, I squelled with exitment turned around and there was ryne standing holding the most amazing diamond ring in his hand. I think I started to hypervenelate and automatically broke into tears. What more could a girl ask for???
