A Walk Down the Aisle
If you were to ask Andy where he would be in his life five years ago, he wouldn’t have expected to say that he would be with an amazing woman who would bring him 3,000 miles from home and who would share in daily adventures. Whether the adventure be big or small, it always made him feel close to the girl he could easily say “I love you” too every day.
If you were to ask Stacie what she expected to gain from living in Syracuse, NY, she would of initially told you that it was just a place to get her Master’s degree as she planned to move back immediately to the west coast. However, soon did she realize, her heart had other plans. All it took was that fateful day when Stacie fell off the chair lift and met that wonderful guy who would change everything.
As the old saying goes, ” Life is what happens to you while you’re busy making other plans.” We both find this saying to become more true each day. Never did we expect to become friends, fall in love, travel the country together, and one day say “I do”. We both had plans and ideas of where our life might be heading; however, we never were sure of the exact course our lives would take. All we know, is that we are glad to be taking this journey together and to have found our partner in crime.
So many people may not know what it feels like to know when you have the one. With Stacie by my side everything began to become a much clearer, bigger picture of what lied ahead in life. The possibilities when you know you have a partner always by your side on your journey seem endless. We knew without a doubt that we had found our other half nearly 2 years ago now and not a single day goes by where we wonder what could have been. Although, it’s funny to realize that when we were first getting to know each other we found out that we had multiple chances to meet from various friends or events. Yet, we both look back and agreed that how we met was meant to be. Without a doubt we knew a wedding was going to happen, but who knew what a wedding it would become!
